Opening May 26th? the list....

I can't believe how much there is to do. This morning while in the subway we made a list and it seems so enormous that I am not yet convinced that we will make our opening date of May 26th.... I am sure the list will only grow from here. - Look at shortcake stations on Atlantic Ave - Look at shortcake station on Bowery - Purchase a shortcake station got it! - Have station delivered to Cha Cha's [Shit, it does not work] - Price containers with lids jetro - Price Large containers with lids [buckets] jetro - 3 Whipped cream makers - Jetro Membership - Check out Jetro for supplies ---- cakes ---- cake fillings ---- cherries ---- suger ---- cream ---- flour ---- etc - Look at Strawberry slicers ordered two online - Refrigerator for extra storage - Go to Hunts Point ---- check out strawberries at Katz Berries -Design Identity - Design Coney Island Shortcakes stand - Build Coney Island Shortcakes stand [this is a big one] - Take food safety course - Get food handling license - Get roll of stickers made - Talk to Baker we are tasting samples 5/15/06 - Taste Shortcakes from baker - Work out schedule with baker - Register the LLC - Open another bank account - Talk to Peter about paper supplies and such ---- Charlette Rouse cups will have in 1-2 weeks ---- bowls will have next wednesday ---- forks or sporks will have next wednesday ---- napkins will have next wednesday - Make sure large sink has been cleaned out - plug for sink - napkin dispenser - knives - cutting boards - ster. tabs jetro?? - cash register/cash box thank you so much stacy!!! - put couch on Craigs List - bleach lowes - spray bottle lowes - latex gloves jetro - hair net/hat - cleaning cloth - cleaning buckets [atleast 2] lowes Ugh! I get overwhelmed every time I look at it. I guess we can cross out the first two items on the list since we spent quite a few hours today exploring rows upon rows of used restaurant equipment. First we walked down to Washington and Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn. Quite a few of the stores had exactly what we were looking for. We then jumped on the train and went to the Bowery. We found much less in Manhattan and most of the units we were interested in were brand new [which we can not really afford]. We have our eye on this really nice four foot Turbo Air sandwich station....... I mean strawberry shortcake station.
